- Public explanations and designated samples are free. Full member exercises require eligible access.
- Recurring subscriptions renew monthly or annually until cancelled. Prepaid passes do not renew automatically. Check the offer before payment.
- The first eligible card subscription payment has a 14-day money-back guarantee. About the service and these terms
MicroPortuguese is operated by CDIAM Limited Liability Company (CDIAM LLC), incorporated in Delaware, United States. Your agreement for MicroPortuguese is with CDIAM LLC. These terms cover the website, personal accounts, learning content, interactive exercises, memberships, and optional speaking features.
“We”, “us”, and “our” refer to CDIAM LLC operating MicroPortuguese. Contact support@microportuguese.com with questions about the service or these terms.
When you create an account or purchase a membership, you are asked to accept the applicable terms. The plan, billing interval, price, and other information shown before checkout form part of your purchase. Keep your purchase confirmation for your records.
The privacy policy explains how information is handled. Accepting these terms does not mean consenting to every optional use of personal information.
Accounts and eligibility
The shared SubLearn account terms require you to be at least 16 to create an account. You must also be able to enter the relevant agreement under the law that applies to you. A purchaser must be authorized to use the selected payment method.
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share or sell your account or use another person’s account without permission. You are responsible for your own misuse; these terms do not make you automatically responsible for a security failure caused by us.
MicroPortuguese uses shared SubLearn account infrastructure. A shared sign-in does not mean that a subscription to one service includes paid access to every other service. Check the membership offer for what it covers.
Free content and membership access
Public teaching explanations and designated audio or exercise samples can be used without buying membership. Complete exercises, additional audio, transcripts, hints, scoring, tests, saved practice, or speaking features may require an account and eligible membership, as shown in the service.
Access is personal and depends on the plan and current eligibility. Some features have usage limits or are offered as a beta. Speaking availability, supported accents, and any credit limits are shown where the feature is offered. Membership is access to a service, not ownership of the lesson library or a promise that every feature will remain unchanged forever.
You need a compatible browser and internet connection. Audio playback needs working sound output. Speaking also needs a microphone and browser permission. You can use the public samples to check whether the learning format and playback work for you.
Prices and recurring billing
Available offers can include monthly or annual recurring subscriptions and prepaid passes. The price, currency, payment schedule, any applicable taxes and total are shown before payment. The offer you accept at checkout determines your purchase; do not rely on an older screenshot or third-party description.
By completing a recurring membership purchase, you authorize the initial payment and subsequent renewals at the agreed interval until you cancel. Paid access starts as described at checkout. Stripe processes the payment and subscription transactions.
If a payment fails, access may be restricted until the payment or subscription status is resolved. Contact us if you think a charge or access decision is incorrect. Any price change affecting a future renewal must be communicated as required by applicable law, with the opportunity to cancel before that charge.
Crypto (USDT) payments are one-off prepaid payments for a fixed number of days. They do not renew, are final once confirmed on the network, and are not covered by the 14-day guarantee or refunded. Duplicate or mistaken payments and rights under applicable law are still reviewed if you contact support.
If a card subscription includes a card trial at checkout, it charges when that trial ends unless you cancel beforehand, with an email reminder a day before. That subscription is excluded from the 14-day guarantee. A separate trial without a card ends automatically and does not charge or renew; using it does not exclude your first paid card subscription from the guarantee.
How to cancel
Open your MicroPortuguese account and use the subscription management or cancellation controls to stop future renewals. If you cannot access those controls, contact support@microportuguese.com with the email address used for membership.
Cancellation normally leaves access available until the end of the period already paid for. A qualifying refund can end access sooner. Cancelling renewal does not automatically request a refund or delete your account and learning history.
Closing a browser tab, removing Google sign-in, deleting cookies, or stopping practice does not cancel a subscription. Check the cancellation confirmation and the next billing status in your account.
The 14-day first-payment guarantee
You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the first successful payment on your first MicroPortuguese subscription. This voluntary guarantee does not automatically cover later renewal payments.
While eligible, open your account and choose Request a refund. A reason is optional. If you need help, email support@microportuguese.com using your account email and explain that you want a refund. Do not send your full card number or security code.
An approved first-payment refund is returned through Stripe to the original payment method. It cancels the subscription and ends member exercise access while keeping your account and learning history. The time until funds appear depends on the payment method and financial institution.
Duplicate charges, service faults, and rights provided by applicable law are considered separately. The guarantee does not replace or limit a legal right to withdraw, obtain a remedy, or receive a refund, including where that right applies to a renewal.
The guarantee applies to card payments made through Stripe. Crypto (USDT) payments are final and are not refunded.

Your consumer rights
Mandatory consumer protections continue to apply. Depending on where you live and the nature of the purchase, these may include rights concerning pre-contract information, withdrawal, digital content or service quality, unfair terms, and remedies when the service does not conform to the contract.
Starting access immediately does not by itself remove every withdrawal right. Any exception that depends on an express request, consent, acknowledgment, or confirmation applies only when its legal requirements have been met. Nothing in these terms asks you to give up rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you believe the service is defective or not as described, contact us with the affected page or feature and the problem. Your legal remedies are not limited to the voluntary first-payment guarantee.
Using lessons and materials
You may use content made available to you for your own language learning. MicroPortuguese’s lessons, recordings, illustrations, design, and software remain protected by the rights of their respective owners. Paying for access does not transfer those rights.
Do not copy and redistribute the lesson library, recordings, or software as your own product; resell access; remove ownership notices; or use automated collection to bypass access restrictions. Any use permitted by applicable law, including relevant quotation or educational exceptions, remains permitted.
Contact us before using substantial material in a commercial course, shared teaching platform, publication, or other redistribution that needs permission.
Respectful and safe use
- Do not disrupt the service, probe accounts without authorization, bypass payment or access checks, or generate abusive automated traffic.
- Do not upload unlawful material, malicious files, or information that infringes another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.
- Record yourself for speaking practice. Do not submit another person’s voice without the permissions needed for that use.
- Keep support messages relevant and do not harass or threaten staff or other learners.
Your answers, recordings, and feedback
You retain any rights you hold in answers, recordings, and other material you submit. You give us permission to store, process, transmit to the necessary service providers, and display that material to you to provide the requested feature, support, and account history.
That permission is limited to operating those functions and handling applicable security or legal requirements. It does not give us a general right to sell your voice or publish your private submissions. Storage and deletion are explained in the privacy policy.
If you send a suggestion or report an error, we may use the suggestion to improve the service without owing a fee. This does not give us permission to publish your private message or identify you as endorsing the service.
Learning results and automated feedback
MicroPortuguese is an educational aid. Practice and test scores are feedback within the service, not an accredited certificate, formal proficiency assessment, or guarantee of an exam, employment, or fluency result.
Speaking Beta uses automated speech assessment. It can mishear words or give an unhelpful score. Some educational materials and illustrations are produced with AI assistance. Contact us when you find an error so it can be reviewed.
A limitation of a learning score does not remove your rights if the paid service is faulty or materially different from what was promised.
Service changes and interrupted access
We may correct lessons, improve features, and carry out maintenance. Access can be interrupted by faults, maintenance, network problems, or events outside reasonable control. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every device and browser will support every feature.
Changes to an ongoing paid service remain subject to the purchase agreement and applicable law. Material changes, withdrawal of a paid feature, or discontinuation may require advance notice, cancellation options, or another remedy. These terms do not reserve a right to remove paid access without regard to those obligations.
Suspension and account closure
Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address nonpayment, a serious breach of these terms, fraud, security risks, or a legal requirement. Immediate action may be needed to protect accounts or the service. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and how to contact us about a mistake.
You can ask support to close your account or delete personal information. Because the underlying account is shared with SubLearn, tell us whether you mean MicroPortuguese records or the whole shared account. Refunds, outstanding obligations, and legally required records are handled separately under the applicable rules.
Responsibility when something goes wrong
Each party remains responsible as required by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence where protected by law, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The service is provided for personal learning. Any limit on recovery for business losses or events outside reasonable control applies only to the extent the law permits. These terms do not impose a blanket waiver of responsibility for a faulty paid service.
Questions, complaints, and applicable law
Email support@microportuguese.com with your account email, relevant page or purchase, and the outcome you are seeking. We will review the issue. You may also use any complaint, consumer-enforcement, or court process available under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Any right to bring proceedings in a competent court where you live remains available. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration, waive class or collective rights, or designate an exclusive foreign court.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not itself waive the right to enforce it.
Updates to these terms
The date at the top identifies this version. We may update the terms to reflect service changes or legal requirements. Material changes affecting an ongoing agreement will receive the notice or acceptance process required by applicable law. Updated wording does not retrospectively remove rights attached to an earlier purchase.
